About the Journal

The International Journal of Culture, Religion, and Education (IJCRE) is an interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed, and open-access scholarly journal that seeks to explore the complex and evolving relationships between education, culture, religion, and society in the global context. IJCRE stands as a forum for critical inquiry, creative innovation, and academic dialogue among scholars who are committed to understanding how cultural and religious values shape educational practices and social transformation in the 21st century.

IJCRE is published quarterly and serves as a bridge between humanities, social sciences, and educational studies, inviting diverse theoretical and empirical perspectives that illuminate the role of education as both a transmitter and a transformer of culture and belief systems.

Intellectual Vision

IJCRE envisions education as a cultural and moral project one that cannot be isolated from the ethical, religious, and social dimensions of human life. The journal encourages reflection on how knowledge, faith, and cultural heritage interact in shaping both individual identity and collective progress.

In doing so, IJCRE fosters cross-disciplinary, intercultural, and interfaith scholarship, drawing from educational philosophy, sociology, anthropology, linguistics, and religious studies. It welcomes both Western and non-Western epistemologies, aiming to decolonize the academic discourse and to bring local wisdom, Islamic educational heritage, and global educational thought into critical conversation.
