This study explores transformative political education at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah level through the integration of Pancasila values in developing children’s democratic character at SD Islam Al Azhar 3 Cirebon. This research employed a qualitative case study approach involving observations, interviews, and documentation with school principals, teachers, and students. The findings reveal that political education is implemented through classroom learning, school culture, and daily social interactions that emphasize deliberation, responsibility, tolerance, cooperation, and respect for diversity. Teachers play a significant role as facilitators who create democratic learning environments by encouraging student participation and dialogue. The integration of Islamic values and Pancasila principles strengthens students’ civic identity and ethical awareness. This study concludes that transformative political education at the elementary level should focus not only on civic knowledge but also on developing democratic attitudes through authentic experiences and participatory practices.
